This beast! I love this beast! Between me and the boys, she has well over 100,000 miles on her. She has been my close friend for over 13 years. Many a marathon and hundreds of races have been accomplished because of this machine. Many radical, emotional reactions have been tempered because she was here providing the mental therapy, which often only a good long run can give. Clarity out of the fit often took place right on this beast.
Two years ago, I had a grueling hip labrum su surgery and after doctors told me I’d most likely never run again, she was there helping me fight my way back. Step-by-step and mile-by-mile, we worked together to restore what was broken, and strengthen what was weak. She’s been faithful, that’s for sure. She has taken many a beating from this family and has always rebounded for more. She was a small price to pay for the blessings I received.
She is still running strong, but the belt is torn pretty bad. Oh, we’ve managed to do everything possible to repair, and repatch the belt but with 4 avid runners in the family, it was only a matter of time. We are hopeful to replace the belt, but if that doesn’t work, we are looking for a new Life Fitness treadmill. So, if you hear of one, please let us know. I can guarantee you, it won’t become a clothesline or a piece of exercise equipment that gathers dust. We promise to embrace her and love her like a member of the family.
Sincerely,
Te Runnergirl
